Episode 011 – Ghostbusters and Mad Concerts Once again we have Anna and Laura and we go through a very funny show. We went from Soilwork to various experiences in concerts passing through Ghost. The topics for this week were: Soilwork – New single streaming online. Amorphis – New video released. Antimatter – They just announced a new album. My Dying Bride – Released a new track. Ghost is streaming their full album. Swallow the sun – will release a triple album in November. After the regular topics we talked about Epica which was a headline we forgot and the comments related to the band and the live video they released we ended up talking about personal experiences in concerts and different type of audience depending on the country you are in. Among those experiences we talk about Lacrimosa and how their music from being slow and maybe project a boring concert changing the country for example to a latin american country will make a total difference in the way people react and live a concert, Rafael talk about 2 or 3 of those experiences. Anna also talks about the festival she attended some years ago and the fact she had to stay from morning to late. We have talked a lot about Nightwish in the last weeks, specially since they have also been releasing lot of news to talk about. We wonder if this new video for the single Endless Forms Most Beautiful is a lyric video or full normal video. Tristana, do not confuse with Tristania, announced Mats Leven joining them. We don't know for sure if it's going to be as full time, one project and if it would replace the singer or be a second voice in the band. Delain seems to be following this new trend of making lyric videos a bit more than a normal lyric video. Paradise Lost song is a very good Doom/death metal and back to the roots for them. Episode 005 – Bands Merchandise: the weird, the ugly, the usual This week we introduce something new in the podcast, besides having the usual news we add a topic each week. This week we talked about Bands merchandise. The headlines of this week: Korpiklaani new video. Luca turilli new single and video. Kamelot new video. Moonspell lyric video. Sirenia album preview released. Paradise lost lyric video. Bands merchandising. Korpiklaani rocks in their new live video shot live in Moscow and we all agree that the CD is gonna be really good. While Luca Turilli's new single and video sounds good as a small taste and the topic is good and interesting, for moments it sounds like is not the final mix of the song. At the same time they used in the end a very bad voice for a kind of cinematic trailer ending that first of all is not even clear. Kamelot's song is good, sounds like any regular Kamelot song. A very sci-fi that reminded to some the Island and to others the Matrix. But Tomi should stop trying to imitate the previous singer, Roy, and make his own voice go in the band. Moonspell, we just loved the video and the music, to Rafael, sounds like Sisters of Mercy, it has the structure that their songs used to have, but nevertheless is very good. It also reminded the girls the 1001 nights stories. Talking about Sirenia, it was a really good preview, and Rafael wonder why did they chose the song Once my Light, since this song doesn't really represent the whole album according to the preview. There were much better songs that could have been the single. We finished the news talking about Paradise lost in where we all agree that it was a very good song, an interesting video and we expect a lot the new CD. We had the chance to see more in detail the cover art because had some close-ups in which several details were revealed. In the topic of the week, we talked about merchandise items, gadgets, either made/sold by bands or by others, are they good?, would you buy any?, which are common?, which are weird and funny?, how much are you willing to spend in an item? All this questions and more is talked and we had big laughs while checking some of the weird items being sold by bands! If you wanna know which items we mentioned you have to listen to the podcast! Episode 003 – From a Computer Mind to HellArise via Amsterdam We repeat this week the same crew of Co-hosts and we drift through different new and topics. And this week we had the following headlines/topics: Angra has released the video for the song "Final Light". Luca Turilli's Rhapsody reveal details about upcoming album. Kiske/Somerville launches a new video "Walk on water." The Gentle Storm release second video "Shores of India" and album "the diary". Devin Townsend is writing a symphony. Shining (swe) streams new song. Computer Mind completed their crowdfunding campaign goal. Cradle of Filth will release new album in summer. Interview with HellArise about the band's plans and their experience with crowdfunding. We started commenting the new video of Angra which has lot of CGI work on it. We all like the song and some are concerned about having a child involved in killing and violence, although has become something normal even because of video games. We ask for some support of the listeners to tell us if the aeroplane that the child is on is a P40 or a T6. The new Luca Turilli's Rhapsody album certainly is a long awaited material. The name is Prometheus, Symphonia Ignis Divinus and seems very promising also with all that diversity of topics in the tracks. Definetly Kiske/Sommerville news was one very discussed by the fact that the video really has nothing to do with the song and the fact that Kiske just reminds static near a piano. The song is actually very catchy that could be played actually in any normal radio. Anna goes explaining a lot about Dutch and the relationship between historical time and the video of the Gentle Storm.
